'Once Upon an Expat' Book Release: More Expat Stories Than You Can Shake a Stick At

It's out! It's released!! It's available!!! 'Once Upon an Expat' is now on sale and yearning to be read.

'Once Upon an Expat' is a collection of stories written by expats who currently live in countries that span the globe. There are happy funny stories that will make you giggle, there are sad tales, there are stories that give you fair warning before you move to distant shores and there are chapters that will make you glad you live where you live. What every story will do is give you insight into the highs and lows of expat life. Expat life is not a holiday, despite what many think, but it sure does give you moments to cherish for the rest of your (expat) life.

"I'll say this book may make you a bit jealous of all these remarkable ladies who stepped out of their comfort zones to follow a dream!"review by Italophine (Amazon.com)

My contribution is a story about bereavement, about mourning away from the family that knows how you feel. It's about the conflicts between your life in your host country and your loved ones back in your passport country. You can read 'Losing my Grandmothers' today (if you buy the Kindle version) and within days if you order the real hold in your hand book today.

All author royalties from the sale of this book on Amazon go to Books Abroad to help literacy and education in developing countries.

"Amidst the amazing experiences is a well-written, easy-to-read book with humor and veracity."review by Rita (Amazon.com)
And last but not least it would be remiss of me not to mention what an amazing job Lisa Webb has done putting this book together - she's kept it all together in the midst of preparing for a relocation, and kept us up to date every step of the way. She has every right to be as thrilled as she looks getting her hands on a copy of 'Once Upon an Expat'. It's been fun being a part of it and I hope you love the result as much as we do.
