Since 2008, the Expat Life with a Double Buggy blog has been helping expats understand more about life abroad, particularly life in the Netherlands as an expat. I blog about culture, language, the ups and downs of an expat life, about raising a family in a country you weren't born in, about being the British mother of Dutch children. I blog about the practical aspects of life abroad, and I blog about the emotional and intangible aspects of a life abroad. I tell living abroad like it is.

About Me

I'm British born and I have lived in the Netherlands since 2000. I'm a published author, the mother of three Dutch boys and wife to a Dutchman. The Expat Life with a Double Buggy audience is predominantly female (73%) aged between 25 and 44. They are located in an array of countries across the globe but the majority are based as follows:
